So grateful that our Father in Heaven, knowing how hard it was going to be, loved us enough to send Him to Strengthen us, Comfort us, and even Carry us. I love how honest this post is, because I can really relate to it. I loved so many parts of it - how perfection hobbles you (oh, do I understand that one!), how being tender feels dangerous and vulnerable, and I wanted to cheer with you when you wrote about "taking back your faith in the world, in humanity." I love your brave words and your heart. I do believe if we listen, the Spirit nudges us towards that place of gratitude. Again and again. It grants us the healthiest perspective, the least-burdened place of living. And recording one thousand gifts has helped me see trends in my life, things the Lord is trying to teach me, gifts He wants me to notice. I look forward to hearing more about your journey. You are a good, good soul. Sending you lots of love.Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12266580814892668109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3891873544909184942.post-62181459450676691922011-12-11T15:49:47.138-08:002011-12-11T15:49:47.138-08:00I loved this post. Life has been tough for me the past couple of years too and an "attitude of gratitude" definitely helps get me out of my selfish woe-is-me funk.

Read this article Thanksgiving weekend and thought I'd share: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/22/science/a-serving-of-gratitude-brings-healthy-dividends.htmlKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13536208622715756292noreply@blogger.com
