This Seriously Sucks

It really really does.

I'm really angry today.

I'm really sick.

I'm really miserable.

Any way I can wake up from this nightmare?

Oh Kerri. I'm thinking about you. It's ok to feel angry at the world. I love you.

Let the music help to heal you. Open yourself to all of the heartache so it can flow through you and just trust that you can live through this pain. Know that hurting this way is so honest and so necessary, even though it is so unwelcome and ugly. . You are not alone. Focus on only one day at a time--one hour, if a day is too much. One minute. Imagine all of us, surrounding you with light and holding hands, sending love to you.

Oh my dearest Kerri... I wish I could take away the pain and anger... know that our love, thoughts and prayers are with you. Let the services begin to heal your wounded soul. Like D. Biddy said, let the music heal you. There is great power in music, as I KNOW that you know! Heavenly Father loves you and your family and KNOWS of your sorry and pain. I pray you will feel his loving arms around you and help you through this very difficult time! We will pray for you Kerri!

I wish I could say it gets better. The feelings of living in a bad dream do go away with time. But even now, a year later, after losing my twin sister, I sometime forget that she is gone and try to call her, and then all the pain comes back. The things that make me feel better, is obviously my testimony, but for quick relief I remember the times we laughed together. I hope that you can find a way to cope with the pain.

Kerri, you've been in my thoughts all day today. All you can do is hang on; don't worry about being strong or happy or graceful (even though you always are). I'll keep you in my prayers!
